Neville Hay has enjoyed a career as race commentator (you may recognise him from many Radio Le Mans broadcasts), author, film maker and former Top Gear host covering over 50 years. Be prepared for insights and anecdotes from someone who was there!
Richard West was a former director of TWR, when he handled much of the race publicity for Tom Walkinshaw, so expect unique behind-the-scenes accounts of the heady TWR-Jaguar Le Mans days. Richard is still very much connected with the racing scene as a motivational speaker for F1.
Dave Beattie and Matt Cook will be covering Spitfire and Lancaster production at the Castle Bromwich site where the Lecture is being held. This is especially relevant as the plant will now be assembling Jaguars new advanced electric cars.
Finally, specialist Jaguar writer Paul Skilleter, and former Jaguar apprentices Ed Abbott and Peter Taylor, will be paying tribute to Norman Dewis OBE, who passed away on 8th June this year. Expect new perspectives on this extraordinary character by people who knew and worked with him!
