Forthcoming Events 2020

Letitia Mace with Norman Dewis at XK70, Shelsley Walsh Norman Dewis Day 2020

Nigel Webb is hosting a Norman Dewis Day on 23rd August 2020. 10am – 6pm (Proposed timings will be confirmed in due course).

Speakers will be those who knew and worked with Norman, including Simon Taylor, Neville Hay, Ed Abbott, Michael Quinn and Paul Skilleter.

Nigel will be clearing the museum for this event and has promised comfy seats. Gaynor Cauter will be taking photos for Jaguar Driver and Richard Treacher will be recording the event. There will be a hog roast at lunchtime and light refreshments will be available throughout the day. As with the last Norman Dewis Day in 2013, attendees will be invited to sign a visitors sheet to commemorate the day and we expect this to be an excellent event as we have come to expect from Nigel!

Private invitations have already gone out and this event is strictly on a first come first served basis, and is now fully subscribed. If you would like to go on the reserve list, please contact for entry details.

Entrance is £20 per head with all fees going directly to Hope House Hospice, as this would have been Norman’s wish.

Great North Classic Car Show 2020

Great North Classic Car Show – 4th July 2020. I have had a recent update from the organiser confirming that Xclusively Jaguar will again have space for 20 cars in the upper field, as per last year. This year the show has been simplified, so there will be an overall concours d’elegance and the gala dinner will be replaced with live music in the evening. This is a very popular show held at the Aston Martin Workshop near Beamish. If you have not been to Beamish Museum it is worth making a weekend of it – attending the show on Saturday and visiting Beamish Museum on Sunday. A few spaces are left, so if you are interested in attending please contact for entry details.

Shetland Shetland Classic Car Show 2020

At the beginning of June, we (Rob Jenner and Letitia Mace) will be going to Lerwick for the Shetland Classic Car Show which is held every other year. This year we will be taking Brucie, my X300 LWB Sovereign. Jaguar owners in Shetland might like to look out for Brucie in the Clickamin Sports Centre, as I have opted to have Brucie displayed indoors so that I can put my Xclusively Jaguar banners on display and chat to Jaguar owners  in Shetland. For those who have not visited Shetland for this show, it is one that should go on your bucket list – there is an amazing atmosphere which begins when you board the boat in Aberdeen, along with dozens of other car enthusiasts. A lot of work goes into the event and if you make a long weekend of it you can join one of the car tours to ensure that you don’t miss any of the hidden gems that the islands have to offer. Rob Jenner introduced me to this show in 2014 and I have returned to every one since then. By the time you read this it will be fully booked, so start planning for the 2022 event!
