Recently published, and still available, edition 166 of Jaguar Magazine includes a feature on the Jaguar Insignia range, by Letitia Mace of Xclusively Jaguar.
Featuring a Daimler Double Six Insignia, which at the time belonged to Neil Sturgess, and was based in the UK, this rare and exquisite example has now been sold on outside the UK.
The car was first featured in a similar article and appeared in Jaguar World Monthly in September 2012. The Insignia article has been re-vamped and added to, providing a more comprehensive insight into this little known Jaguar range.
Feedback has already been received from the owner of the unique Wild Berry Daimler Insignia which was mentioned in the article and is based in New Zealand.
Since the original feature was published, several of the other Insignia’s have also changed hands, including the only manual.
Jaguar Heritage kindly provided a press picture of one of the extremely rare XJ-S’s built to Insignia specification
