The basic details for this car were sent to me by Tony O’keeffe, former curator of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust vehicle collection, now working at Jaguar Classic Works in Ryton.

It was Tony’s wish that I should advertise this car amongst those who would understand it and appreciate it’s condition. I therefore felt that it was important for me to view the car myself in order to be able to confidently speak of its excellence in every detail and if I was looking to buy an Arden equipped Jaguar XK8, I would definitely have it in my collection!

The terms ‘mint’ and ‘concours’ condition are sadly mis-used on an all too frequent basis and most cars described thus, are not even close, but in this instance, you can be confident that what you will see if you visit Jaguar Classic is an Arden XK8 which would be difficult to fault in any way. My own cars have won awards based on their condition, and I have judged concours d’elegance classes, so I viewed this car from that aspect.

If a low mileage XK8 in pristine condition is what you seek, this is probably the best on the market at the current time, and you will not be disappointed – take a tour of Jaguar Classic Works while you are there, and your trip will be complete!

Below you will see a number of photos taken by me of the car at Jaguar Classic – click on them to expand them. More pictures in high resolution are available to those who are genuinely interested, by contacting either Jaguar Classic below, or

This striking, Arden equipped XK8, is finished in Platinum Silver with Black Leather, and was initially supplied
through the Jaguar dealership, Paramount, of Stourbridge. In 2002 the car returned to Paramount where a number
of Arden performance and styling upgrades were fitted. These included a sports body kit, sports exhaust, and mesh
grille, for which an invoice of £5,693 is on file. Naturally, the car has been regularly maintained over its lifetime,
with no less than 12 service intervals being recorded in the factory service book, along with an extensive collection
of invoices to support regular maintenance. The car has covered a minimal 21,000 miles from new, and with the
Arden styling additions, it represents a rare example and increasingly collectable XK8.

There is slight marking of the drivers seat bolster, which I am surprised was not corrected by Jaguar Classic, as it is an easy fix.
