1976 Jaguar XJ12 Coupe
Based on a genuine Jaguar Series 2 V12 Coupe, this car has been transformed into a tribute to the one-off prototype Series 1 Coupe.
The only one known to exist, it is a unique one off motor car!
The bodyshell is very solid, with steel Series 1 front wings and a full recent repaint in Regency Red.
All series 1 chrome trim. New vinyl roof.
Original black velour interior – very rare and in fine order.
The original 5.3 litre engine is said to be tuned to 6.2 litres, with a 5 Speed Getrag manual gearbox used.
The car has plenty of power, accompanied by a great soundtrack.
Suspension is believed to be standard, but in good order.
For sale following the owners untimely passing, the car is almost complete, MOT’d and ready to be used.
There is some history with the car from the previous owner, but not the deceased owner.
Having looked over the car, it requires the windscreen chrome centre clips, roof gutter centre clips, and boot floor carpeting.
Personal touches are to be added. The Kent alloy wheels are in good order and wear recent tyres, but would benefit from refurbishing. The seats are excellent, the door cards are usable but the car would benefit from a new set. All bright work is good.
The engine bay would benefit from detailing.
