JEC supports Troop Aid for 2013

TROOP AID support injured troops returning from conflict zones without their personal belongings or even clothing, supplying the basic essentials.

Troop Aid is delighted that the JEC have again agreed to support the charity with the 2013 raffle.
Troop Aid continues to grow in the support we are able to give to our injured troops. Without the help of your support we could not have achieved so much in 2012 and we wish to thank each and every one of you.

The charity was started six and a half years ago by three ex- servicemen: Al Sutton, Derek Joss and Ray Warren. Al is now the chairman of the trustees and when the charity first started it was run from his home in Solihull. The charity expanded and moved to an office in Hall Green and was able to take on paid employees including Pam Sutton the wife of the chairman. This office is no longer large enough to cope with the day to day running of the charity and from Wednesday 27th March 2013 will be moving to an industrial unit in Shirley which incorporates four offices, a meeting room and warehouse space.
