I expect most of you know of me, having met at JEC events or have read some of my articles about Diecast Jaguar Models. For the rest of you who are not familiar with me and my connection with JEC my name is Keith Powell and I sell Diecast Model Jaguars at Toy Collectors Fairs and JEC events. I am now living in Northamptonshire having moved down from the Scottish Borders in March.
I have been collecting model cars since the early 1990’s but my interest grew to collecting Jaguar Models some 12 years ago when I bought my first Jaguar road car, an S-Type. My collection of model Jaguars grew, and in 2003 I started to sell models at Toy and Collectors Fairs, something I continue to do to this day.
I was the only person selling a complete stall of Jaguar Models and I think the same can be said today. I also attend JEC events, whenever possible, having just been to the Northern Day at Newby Hall. My next JEC event will be Southern Day at Littlecote House, Hungerford on September 1st.
You can also catch up with me at International Spares day in October or the NEC Classic Car show in November, if you cannot make any of the Toy Collectors Fairs at Coventry, NEC, Donnington Park and Sandown.
I have a large stock of models in all scales i.e. 1/76, 1/32, 1/43, 1/24 and 1/18 and whenever a new Jaguar model is released I will have that particular model in stock for selling.
Some of the top manufacturers such as Auto Art, Spark, NEO, Oxford Die Cast and Minichamps are bringing out some excellent models in 1/43 and 1/18 scale. Proof of this are the recently released Auto Art models of the Jaguar E Type Series 1 3.8 Roadsters and Coupes. Due for release during August are the eagerly awaited 1/18 scale models of the Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 2.8 1971 in Regency Red and the Sable Brown XJ6 Series 1 4.2 1968, Sir William Lyons personal car.
I will do my best to keep you all updated with the latest information on all new release models and all other relevant information I receive on Jaguar models. So keep reading the JEC magazine and Xclusively Jaguar News.
In the meantime don’t hesitate to contact me with any enquiries.
