Jaguar Heritage News Update

The next issue of Jaguar Heritage News will not appear until mid-November.

Meanwhile, below are details about forthcoming events where cars from the Heritage Collection can be seen:

  • The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run on 3rd November 2013 will feature both our 1901 Lanchester 12hp Tonneau (making its first appearance for a few years) and also our 1903 Daimler 14hp Tourer.  The Lanchester has recently undergone a partial engine re-build and general mechanical overhaul which will be covered in the next newsletter.
  • The Classic Motor Show at the NEC from 15-17 November 2013, where we will once again be sharing a large stand with Jaguar Classic Parts in Hall 20, ideally situated in close proximately to the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club stand.  We will be bringing a number of cars from the collection along for display with a focus on interesting or ‘working’ examples of some models like the XJS Police Car from 1983 and the XJ40 Silverstone Fire tender car from 1985 – both of which have been refurbished in honour of the occasion.  Other cars will include the famous 1950 XK120 NUB 120, a 1971 E-type V12 Coupe, the X300 Daimler Corsica convertible concept car, and the 2009 Rocketsports XFR that achieved a speed of 225.675 mph on the Bonneville salt flats.  The line-up will be topped out by the stunning Jaguar C-X75 prototype.
