JEC Cambridgeshire Region Christmas Dinner 2014

On 2nd December 2014 JEC Chairman, Rob Jenner, was invited by the JEC Cambridgeshire Region to speak at their annual Christmas Dinner.  Prior to this, at the Historic Motoring Awards Dinner held at the Renaissance Hotel in London on 20th November 2014, at which Rob Jenner represented the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club who had been nominated for the award of ‘Motoring Club of the Year’, he had been invited along to visit the Lister Car factory by Torque PR Representative, Claire Furnell, and as he was in the area, this presented the perfect opportunity to accept the invitation.

After an interesting and informative visit to Lister Cars, an enjoyable evening was spent with the Cambridgeshire Region which was attended by some prominent Jaguar enthusiasts, including David Stewart of Hamiltons Jaguar in Peterborough. An interesting and light-hearted quiz kept everyone guessing, and Rob Jenner entertained the gathering with an after dinner talk on his fathers’ involvement with Jaguar Cars Ltd and how he himself became a Jaguar Enthusiast, before closing the evening by drawing the raffle.

Thankyou to Phil Bell of JEC Cambridgeshire Region for organising a splendid evening at The Ferryboat Inn.
