Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club Jaguar Car Timeline 2014
Next year (2014) the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club celebrates its 30th birthday, and as part of its big birthday bash at Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire on the weekend of 21st/22nd June, I have been asked to create a Jaguar Timeline. This will (as far as is possible) consist of one of every model Jaguar ever produced, and will include Swallows and post 1960 Daimlers.
All owners are invited to contact Letitia Mace with details of their car. The only criteria for inclusion of your car in this prestigious and memorable line-up is that you are a current member of the JEC. Membership is very reasonably priced at £36 per annum, for UK members, with an initial £5 one-off joining fee. Full details can be obtained HERE
Response for the timeline has been encouraging, so before I make any decisions, and in order that I choose the best example of each model, I would like to see at least one picture, and have some information on the history and condition of the car, along with its colour and exact model.
Chassis and other numbers would be useful, along with date of manufacture, and numbers relating to rarity, its place in the production run, restored or original, ex-Press car, etc.
If it is chosen for the timeline, it is my intention to use the picture(s) and information to promote and record this memorable event.
(References to chassis numbers and other vital statistics will be kept securely for my records, for future events, but for your security, will be deleted at my discretion, from text which is available to the general public).
Below are some of the Jaguars and Daimlers which have been confirmed for inclusion in the timeline. If you do not see the model(s) you own in this list, please consider sending in some details of your car for possible inclusion.
