This is a truly immaculate limousine which is a real testament to Jaguar craftsmanship and engineering. It has had three former keepers and myself and the previous owners have had it for about ten years (approx. six years and four years respectively). During that time I know it has been garaged and covered and only used it on high days and holidays. We believe that before that it was a chauffeur driven limo. It is therefore in wonderful condition and at the recent MOT and underbody inspection found it to be perfect and the Jaguar specialist mechanic described it as ‘a real beauty’. The car was in the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club timeline for the 30th Anniversary Rally at Thoresby Hall in June 2014.
When new in 1998 the car cost £65,545.
It has effortlessly covered 95,000 miles althoughJaguar recalled these cars and replaced the engine. With this car this was on 6 June 2001 at about 25,000. This is all documented and there is a history file for the last ten years. The MOT is valid until 29 November 2017.
It is finished in anthracite with stunning ivory ruched autolux leather seating with contrasting sable piping and with the Daimler logo on the headrests. It is finished with extraordinarily crafted inlaid burr walnut. Daimler described it as ‘without doubt one of the finest travelling environments in the world’.
The performance and ride are breath-taking. It can reach 0-60 in 5.4 awe inspiring seconds with a top speed of 155mph and developing 370 BHP. There are powerful automatic safety systems with traction and stability control being part of them.
The features of it are just too numerous to mention but include:-
Walnut picnic tables in the rear cabin
Three memory position electrically operated driver’s seat which stores steeringwheel, mirrors and seat position. The steering wheel moves up automatically to ease entry and exit.
Two plush reclining rear seats electrically adjustable.
Monogrammed electric headrests.
Heated seats front and rear (Here I have to mention the only fault I am aware of in that the driver’s seat does not heat)
Passenger seat position adjustable from rear seat (how posh is that!)
Tilt and slide sun roof.
Heated front and rear screens
Lambs wool overmats (plus two spares)
JaguarStartac integrated phone
Harman Kardon premium sound system with 9 speakers, power amplifier and 6 disc CD auto changer
Automatic climate control, automatic lights and cruise control.
Rear parking sensor – this is a much needed retro fit!

The MOT is valid until 29 November 2017
The three advisory issues on the MOT have been fully dealt with and there are receipts to back this up. The two rear tyres were worn close to the legal limit so have been replaced since the MOT. There was also a small dent on the inside rim of the offside rear tyre and this has been corrected.
