The Concours of Elegance would like to extend an invitation to readers of Xclusively Jaguar News to participate at this years Concours of Elegance.
With the gracious permission of Her Majesty the Queen, Windsor Castle will be the exceptional setting for the 2016 Concours of Elegance.
As the venue for the very first Concours of Elegance in 2012, Windsor Castle has been a firm favourite among car collectors, enthusiasts and visitors alike.
A Concours of 60 cars has been the trademark of the event since 2012, in honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. And once again 60 of the world’s rarest cars will be invited to take part.
Car Club Displays
We would be delighted to welcome members to display their cars on the Long Walk leading to the Castle on Saturday 3rd September (Jaguar Land Rover Saturday). Members cars will need to be parked in position by 9.30am and remain in place until 6.00pm. There will be a small cost per car (£25) and for those drivers/passengers who also wish to visit the Concours of Elegance itself they will be required to purchase an admission ticket. A discount rate of £25 for an Adult Day Admission ticket will be offered to members (normal price £40). Discounted tickets can be purchased online via www.concoursofelegance.co.uk and quote the promotional code XCLUSVIP
As last year Jaguar Land Rover will be judging all the Jaguar cars attending on Saturday 3rd September and presenting the Jaguar Trophy to the ‘Best in Show’ (which was awarded, last year, to Michael and Linda Jewell’s impeccable Jaguar SS1). An independent panel of judges will be brought together by Jaguar. Anyone who is attending the Concours can also apply to enter The Jaguar Trophy by completing an online form.
